Almost all of my blog posts have some reference to Africa. It, therefore, makes sense to bring you greetings from Africa, Karibu (welcome). Click on this link for a YouTube video for a short introduction to our life on the continent. Although it needs updating (desperately), it will give you a glimpse into this stunning continent that I and my family call home. I hope you discover some blog posts to share and enjoy.
A lasting impact
My time spent in Africa has had a lasting impact on the content of the blog and its posts. This has resulted in me being a little bit of a cultural enigma. I accept that it is a part of who I am. And rather than feeling strange about it, I have come to love this part of me.
A shifting culture
My culture has had to change since I have dedicated my life to serving the continent. This is the reason why the blog is called, appropriately, “A Cultural Shift.” Life, and culture, are constantly shifting. And we need to flow with the shift. These are covered in the following blog posts. I hope they are a source of encouragement for you.
