10 blogs that I love

I love reading. It’s something my parents cultivated in me as a child. My preferred choice of books at the time were Peanuts comic books. I read them by the armload over and over again. If I close my eyes I can still see their covers. If you’re here, you love reading too. Below I’ve compiled a short list of 10 blogs that I love (they are not in any specific order). You might end up loving them, too.

Blogs that I love

  • Cup of Faith is a South African women’s blog that features articles written by women from all walks of life. They even accepted one of my writings recently (I hope that doesn’t put you off 😂).They strive to inspire and encourage their readers.
  • Beauty Beyond Bones has been a favorite of mine for many years. The author has recovered from a serious eating disorder and has gone on to have a family. She credits God and her family for her recovery.
  • Milk and Honey Faith is another solid blog offering various Bible studies and faith-growing tools geared toward women.
  • Well-Watered Women is a blog that offers great Bible study resources that are specifically designed to tackle the struggles that women face all around the world.
  • Ashley Henriott is a blogger that encourages her readers to find their calling and run with what God has called them to do. If you’re brave, read her posts!
  • Ask A Missionary is not a blog as such. However, it lists a large number of missions blogs and podcasts. You can understand why I would list it here, it’s a great resource for those interested in learning more about international missions service.
  • Blogs By Christian Women is a site where you can read posts by Christian women about their lives and their faith. It’s full of inspiring stories and encouragement that I’ve personally enjoyed.
  • Joyce Meyer Devo is part of the Joyce Meyer ministries site that posts devotional readings regularly. Her content is solid and uplifting and her writings are easy to read and understand. Highly recommend!
  • Jasmine Holmes is a new blog I have just recently begun following. Her writings center in on raising her family, motherhood, and her faith. It’s a timely read especially for those of us with children still at home.
  • Tara Sun is another blog I’ve only recently begun following. She has a powerful personal story that can only be understood when reading it. I encourage you to take a look at her site and get ready to be lifted and challenged.

Chew up the meat

Views that these sites present don’t necessarily reflect my beliefs. I’ve learned to “chew the meat and spit out the bones.” Most of the time, these sites are full of “meat.” But, there might be times you don’t agree with everything. Set those things to the side and take what resonates with you.
