My books of choice used to be Peanuts, introducing Not a Matter of If but When

It’s no secret I love to read and study. It’s a discipline that my parents instilled in me many years ago. My books of choice were Peanuts comics back then. I still enjoy a good comic, but I have now expanded my reading palate 😆.

I’ve spent many years teaching and writing curriculum. Last year, I decided to begin organizing some of what I had and put it here on the Shift. Figuring out new systems has definitely been a learning curve. It’s a good thing I like to study! While I am now mediocre at uploading and preparing a course on the technical side, I still have a ways to go before I become a pro.

Editing is done but always a tweak needing tweaking

With most of the editing done—I say most because there’s always a tweak that needs tweaking—I’m introducing a series of teachings that reflect my personal journey in dealing with anger. In the Christian community, we tend to shy away from issues and emotions that are uncomfortable, like anger or depression. In this simple course, I share some of the truths that have helped me deal properly with anger.

Because it’s not a matter of if we will get angry, but when.

Books of choice: who doesn’t like a good challenge?

This series can be used as a week-long devotional, a supplement to what you are doing daily, or on its own. It’s meant to be simple and uplifting while maintaining an element of challenge because who doesn’t like a good challenge?

“It’s not a matter of if but when” will soon be available here on A Cultural Shift under a page made for members called “The Inside Track.”
